ALL SOULS’ DAY JAZZ FESITIVAL
Monday, November 7th, at Chopin Theatre (Wicker Park)
7:00 PM – ‘till early morning…
“It's loud and raucous, soft and introspective, freely experimental and openly nostalgic." (H.Reich)
All Souls’ Day Jazz Fest - annual Polish-American music festival of internationally renowned jazz artists (featuring world famous trumpeter EDDIE HENDERSON with TOMEK GROCHOT QUINTET) and talented young performers (EASTERN BLOK, MEGITZA, PABIAN, BARABASZ, JANUSZKIEWICZ & FRIEDA LEE, LEBIK/RIORDAN, ANTYKWARIAT and others...). The festival mirrors an annual jazz festival in the historic city of Krakow, Poland. Over time, the Chicago counterpart has grown to become an unforgettable and popular event with both the local Polish community and American music connoisseurs. This year, as many as fifty plus musicians (13 bands at all!) - representing various jazz styles, will perform on two stages at the Chopin Theatre, 1543 W. Division, Chicago (free parking at the Holy Trinity Church) on Monday, November 7th, at 7:00 PM – ‘till early morning…
Tickets: www.bilety.com or one hour before the event (limited seating).
