Event Description
Maracujaz is a musical journey to Brazil! Vocalist Leanne Araya took Master classes with Bobby McFerrin and Luciana Souza and performed on the final shows of “Oprah”, at the Lincoln Center, and as a soloist with the Chicagoland Pops Orchestra. Vocalist-bassist/founder Jim Reynard performed with Arturo Martinez, Otis Day and members of TMBG and Lisa Loeb’s Nine Lives, and composed the music for the film, “A Batalha dos Anjos Malditos.” Guitarist Jacob Wilson participated in master classes with world-renowned guitarists including members of the L.A. Guitar Quartet. Percussionist Sean Jelinek leads the ensemble Common Tones and performed with acid jazz greats, Orange Alert. Maracujaz delivers a moving show! www.myspace.com/Maracujazmusic
