Music is my contribution to making the world a better place. I'm a classically trained singer, and a few months ago I realized that I could use my voice in other ways. I started writing music on the guitar. I became a musician.
I have an eclectic background that has made me who I am today. I've lived in America, Israel, Ecuador and South Africa. I've performed in plays, improv comedy, choruses, operas, puppetry and jazz shows. I've directed, produced, and acted in theater. I've taught theater and culture programs to kids all around the world, from the nature centers of Chicagoland to the townships of South Africa.
I grew up listening to Daft Punk in one ear and Debussy in the other, with middle eastern rhythms circulating through my veins.
I'm looking to collaborate with other musicians on a jazz/indie rock/electronic/middle eastern hybrid project, with a sensibility to appeal to the masses with lyrics and chord progressions that anyone can dance to, sing along with, and heart-beat to.
I'm also looking for teachers/guides/mentors to help me take my music to the next level.
